Hi, I’m Sylwia!

Artist, educator, and creator of Zappy Arts. I design printable art history lessons that help children explore famous artists, world cultures, architecture, and ancient civilizations through creativity and hands-on learning.

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I attended a Specialized High School of Fine Arts in Poland before earning my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Over the years, my passion for art, history, and education naturally came together to create Zappy Arts.

Every lesson you see here has been created entirely from scratch. I illustrate the artwork, design the printable templates, write the lesson content, and develop each project with one goal in mind: making art history engaging, creative, and easy to teach.

Before a lesson becomes part of the Zappy Arts collection, I teach it in my own art classes. Watching children create, ask questions, solve problems, and share their ideas helps me continually refine every lesson so it is both engaging for students and practical for educators.

I believe children learn best by creating. Rather than simply reading about art and history, they experience it through meaningful hands-on projects that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Whether you’re a teacher, parent, tutor, co-op leader, museum educator, or simply someone who enjoys introducing children to art, I hope these lessons inspire a lifelong appreciation for creativity and the rich history of art.
