Giuseppe Arcimboldo Art History Lesson

This Giuseppe Arcimboldo Art History Lesson introduces students to one of the most imaginative artists of the Renaissance. Students discover how Arcimboldo transformed ordinary fruits, vegetables, flowers, books, animals, and other everyday objects into extraordinary portraits that continue to amaze viewers more than 400 years later.

The lesson concludes with a hands-on collage project where students design their own Arcimboldo-inspired portrait using the included printable fruit and vegetable templates.
